Vibrations induced by underwater explosion can affect neighboring building, which must be taken into account in blasting safety.Dynamite blast vibration effect in small pool was investigated.Seismic waves generated by dynamite blast in the pool were registered by UBOX-blasting vibration recorder and spectrum of the seismic waves was analyzed. The results showed that main frequency of seismic waves induced by the underwater blast is between 12 ~ 60Hz,which is bigger than the natural frequency of building(structure)(a few Hz to more than a dozen Hz).When natural frequency of building(structure) is close to vibration frequency by blasting, resonance effect will occur;smaller vibration will have greater damage. The blast in the experiment didn't affect the laboratory building. The results are valuable for the construction of the similar laboratory and other practical engineering.
