Study on the Method of Wildes Iris Identification

Iris recognition technique is a kind of science of using individual personal—iris to verify identity.Because the structure of the iris is unique to an individual,stable and highly unlikely to be replicated,it provides a novel approach to recognize the identity.We studied the iris image acquisition,image preprocessing,feature extraction,and matching of the iris recognition presented by Wildes.Through the investigation of the iris recognition method,we found it exist some problems which can not be solved by itself.We provided a method which can improve the preciseness of the original system to solve this problem.
