Mixed Traffic Flow Characteristic of the Crosswalk of the Signal Control Crossing

To analyze the microscopic traffic characteristic,this paper applies the technique of video analysis to the microscopic traffic.First,the applicability of video analysis system in the microscopic traffic was analyzed.By taking Pingleyuan Crossing in Beijing as an example,the mixed traffic flow of the crosswalk of the peak hour was analyzed.The result of the video analysis shows that the mixed traffic flow of the crosswalk has the characteristic of two processes.In the first process the mixed traffic flow goes through the crossing as a group,and in the second process the mixed traffic flow goes through the crossing stochastically.
