Image Retrieval Based on Texture Spectrum Descriptor

This paper describes the image texture property using one kind of texture spectrum descriptor with weak relevance.The texture spectrum describes the gradation change pattern of the pixels in the neighborhood and the content of images in the form of texture spectrum histogram.We established an image retrieval system based on Chinese natural language and constructed a dictionary of texture attributes.The experimental result proved that the texture spectrum descriptor accelerates the feature extraction process,and the accuracy of the retrieval is high.
