Allowing for the safe leak of the present key updating technology for wireless sensor network, proposed a new key updating scheme based on code slices(call it CSKUS for short). In CSKUS,preloaded an initial key and some code slices on each sensor node. After exchanging code slices by neighbor nodes, any two neighbor nodes could get the same set of code slices. Then the set of code slices could make up a key updating program which could be used to update the pair-wise key.According to the theory analysis,CSKUS can insure high security with low overhead of computation and communication, and it supportes large scale wireless sensor networks well.
