Multipoint Control Technique in LAN Video Conference System

The characteristics of video conference system based on IP network are presented. According to the collaborative of MCU and terminals, three operation modes of a multipoint conference are put forward: centralized mode, deeentralized mode and hybrid mode. The most popular multipoint control method -chairman control is analyzed in details.
