Real-time monitoring system of oil and gas leak based on JavaEE and Comet technology under the architecture of B /S

Due to the disadvantages of traditional WEB-based monitoring technology,such as heavy burden,poor real-time performance,and tedious operations,a real-time on-line monitoring system based on JavaEE( Java 2Platform Enterprise Edition) and Comet technology was introduced. By adopting multi-tier B /S( Browser /Server)software architecture and making full use of the advantages of JavaEE distributed computing platform,a real-time monitoring system model was established,and its performance was verified through a real-time monitoring instance.The result showed good effect in realizing the real-time management,emergency management and remote control.
