Database system on the grid

GND computing is an important new technology. Database System is needed for managing a large number of data on the grid. The work relevant to database system on the grid was introduced and topics in grid database which include grid DBMS,grid database integration,and new requirements of grid applications were discussed. It is suggested that the database researchers do more research on grid database to finding and resolving the new problems caused by grid applications.
