Analyses of Vent Short Piping Burst in High Sulfur Content Well

The short section of pipe explosion's causes of high sulfur content well was investigated.The burst short section of piping's appearance was analyzed,and the burst short section of piping's material,test material of the similar short section and the short section on storeroom were tested.Through the investigation and test comparison and analysis,it was believed that the high hydrogen sulfide environment cause pipe's hydrogen induced cracking.The material errors and excessive weld hardness is the main reason.
