Extensible Markup Larguage(XML)-based information shareing of a heterogeneous database

In order to share information among heterogeneous databases,a model for the transition between relational databases and Extensible Markup Language(XML) has been proposed.Based on a definition of RXM(Relation XML Model),a mapping rule of RXI(Relation and XML Interact) is proposed for the interaction between relational databases and XML.In addition,two mapping algorithms are presented.Experimental tests show that the method works well.
