Automatic Generation of Finite Element Planar Triangular Meshes

A new method of automatically generating finite element planar triangular meshes is presented on the basis of using element size function. By means of geometrical or physical criteria, the element size of each point in the region is calculated, the whole region is subdivided into several sub regions with different element size, and then uniformed meshes are generated in each sub region.
