Automatic Counting Method of Steel Bar Image

Because of the weakness of conventional steel automatic counting,a new,simple and reliable solution is presented.this solution is characterized by the use of Gaussian blur in order to separate adhesive steel bar into hump shaped ball of light,and then it is extracted with the number of steel bar in the image.Experiments show that this solution is very effective to count adhering steel bar,improves accuracy of automatic counting of steel bar.
