Implementation of Lossless Part of JPEG2000 Standard with FPGA

Wavelet transform is one of important methods for signal processing in recent years.It is widely used in image compression and it has been adopted by new image compression standard——JPEG2000.In this paper,we propose how the lossless part of JPEG2000 standard can be implemented on FPGA.Its algorithm is simple in terms of computational complexities and therefore can be easily implemented in hardware.The results of FPGA basically are consistent with the results of software emulation.
