Real-time Rate of Average Rate Change Based Marker

According to the different characteristics of TCP and UDP flows, an intelligent marker RoC-TCM was proposed based on Time Sliding Window Three Color Marker (TSWTCM), which could trace the sending rate change of aggregate, estimate the situation of the flow, then dynamically adjust the threshold. The marker was implemented in NS simulator. Experimental results show improvement in TCP performance when competing with UDP. Its fairness was studied under various conditions: different target rates, different Round Trip Time (RTT).
