Strong convergence for Nonexpansive Mappings andα-Inverse-Strongly Accretive Operators in Banach Spaces

In this paper,we introduce a new iterative algorithm for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for aα-inverse-strongly accretive operator in 2-uniformly smooth Banach spaces,and then obtain a strong convergence theorem of the iterative sequence.Furthermore,applying this result,we also concern the problems of finding a common fixed point of a nonexpansive mapping and a strictly pseudocontractive mapping.
