Study of Signal Denoising Based on Double-Density Wavelet Transform

In order to improve the quality of the de-noised signal,basing on the analyses of discrete wavelets transform(DWT) and double-density discrete wavelets transform(DD DWT),an efficient de-noising algorithm based on DD DWT is improved.The space of frequency band of the neighbor wavelets at the same level is smaller because that DD DWT has two different wavelet functions.Having the time invariation characteristics,DD DWT overcomes the time variation characteristics of DWT and can describe the real characteristics of signal.The proposed algorithm is test on signals of different noise level.The experimental results indicate that,the de-noising algorithm based on DD DWT is more better than the algorithm based on DWT.So,the proposed algorithm is a novel effective signal de-noising algorithm.
