Research on Half-aerial Acoustic Source Location Using Planar Microphone Array

The acoustic source location is mainly implemented by TDOA(Time Difference of Arrival) technique with microphone array, and its accuracy relates with the array′s structural parameters. In order to avoid the influence on the accuracy by array itself and the complicated calculation, a crossed microphone array model with simple and direct structure is proposed, and location arithmetic and error formulae are given. Although it needs to be improved, this system can be applied extensively in source location and microphone array.
