Research on the Early Warning System for Rainstorm Waterlogging in Shanghai City

Based on the WebGIS platform,the urban rainstorm waterlogging monitoring and forecasting system of Shanghai is set up.And it is described in this paper.The real-time rainfall information and quantitative precipitation forecasting information are fully applied and monitored.Refined basic geographic database is built.And the mathematical model of rainstorm waterlogging for megacities is constructed.Relying on the mesoscale weather monitoring and forecasting system and using the mathematical model for the simulation of rainstorm waterlogging disasters,it not only strengthens the capabilities of monitoring and prediction for the disaster,but also enhances the performance of the system.The monitoring and prediction for the rainstorm waterlogging have been refined to the blockscale.
