Several key techniques for the remote monitoring of environment quality

The structure for the remote monitoring system of environmental quality is established.The system consists of monitoring controller,monitoring agent,monitored objects,monitoring information library(MNIB),monitoring protocols and Internet,and the functions of the six components are discussed separately.A new concept of MNIB is introduced.It adopts a tree-shaped structure to realize the orderly organization and memorization of the data on environmental quality,the information on monitoring stations,and the parameters of monitoring instruments etc.An application layer protocol ARMP(Atmosphere Remote Monitor Protocol)for atmosphere monitoring system is designed.The ARMP packet has three components,and it operates in four modes,i.e.monitoring,monitoring-next,setting and trap.
