Study on automatic identification of parallel sentences in Pre-Qin Chinese——with automatic identification of parallel sentences in Mencius and the Analects of Confucius

The Analects of Confucius and Mencius have a profound influence upon the later generation, among which a good many parallel sentences are used to make the literature more persuadable and expressible. Taking the parallel sentences of Mencius and the Analects of Confucius for instance, it's the first time to discuss the automatic identification of figures of speech of classic Chinese, and the paper has devised the corresponding algorithm of automatic identification for managing the parallel sentences in the classics, whose results are also analyzed and compared. The automatic identification of parallel sentences maintains a good property in the two different Pre-Qin literatures, the Analects of Confucius and Mencius.
