Time Delay Estimation of Passive Acoustic Detection Based on DSP

Time-delay estimation is a key parameter in passive acoustic positioning;whose accuracy directly affects the positioning accuracy.In this paper,focused on the basic theory of time-delay estimation and the system design,the ROTH cross-correlation of pairs of collected sound signals was adopted.The results prove that the arithmetic can effectively extract the time-delay values from complex acoustic signals.
