Green Wireless Network Technologies Using Cooperative Coverage
Yang Yang · ZTE communications · 2010
This paper examines green network technologies using cooperative coverage. In both heterogeneous wireless networks and homogeneous wide area/local area networks, this technology can reduce the effect of low energy efficiency caused by coverage duplication. This is achieved by forming network cooperatives and residential district cooperatives. Simulation shows that the proposed green wireless technologies significantly improve energy efficiency and access success rate for users.
