Design of Head-end Modulator for Digital Cable Television

The Head-end modulator is the key equipment for data transmission applied in HFC network.This paper introduces DVB-C standard.Then it puts forward the conceptual block diagram of head-end modulator and analyzed the main modules of the modulator.These modules include the BCM3033 chip and FPGA modules.At last,this paper presents the measuring results of modulator.
