A Discussion on Construction Scheme of State Center for Geological Documents and Data

This paper describes a construction scheme of the State Center for Geological Documents and Data,introduces the main components of state level and provincial level data centers,discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the three kinds of catalog-data organization,and expounds the eight characteristics of the center,along with an analysis of the prospect of the center and the problems.The research indicates that the center integrates preserved entity with network dummy,with catalog network center being its nerve hinge,though which we can organize the data all over the country and provide the public with one-stop service.
