Combining-weight estimation algorithm based on signal autocorrelation coefficient

An optimal combing weight estimation algorithm is proposed.It is applicable for signal synthesis under the condition of correlated noises.Different from the traditional algorithm,the operation of the new algorithm only relies on the auto-and cross-correlation functions of multiple signals,and the solution of a trivial quadratic equation with one unknown.Without computing the middle variables,such as noise variance,signal amplitude and noise cross-correlation coefficient,the computation of the algorithm is very simple.Simulations on QPSK,8PSK and 64QAM signals,with correlated and uncorrelated noises,show that the algorithm can estimate the combing weights accurately and robustly.
