A New Lightning Strike Fault Identication method based on lightning Monitoring Management

It is important to identify the lightning strike fault for line protection.Based on the existing technology of lightning Monitoring Management,an identification method for lightning fault is proposed.Firstly,current characteristic of lightning arrester groud wire is analyzed.Then,the criterion to identify the two kinds of fault is presented.The method is reliable and practical.And the EMTP simulation shows that the method can identify the lightning fault.The accuracy is high.
