Test cases automatic generation from UML state diagram

Existing researches on generate test cases from UML state diagrams has ignored the support to pseudo-states in order to simplify the problem.To solve this problem,first analysis the concept of pseudo-states in UML state diagram and discuss the impact on test case generation algorithm;improve the definition of pseudo-states in UML statechart semantics,make appropriate conversion on pseudo-states,expand the existing algorithm to support them;propose a set of methods include a UML state diagram planarization algorithm which can handle pseudo-states and a test case generation method.And verified the method in a practical application.
