Measurement and Control Technology on Sediment Model of Chongqing Reach

This paper introduces the computer automatic control system on the sediment model of Chongqing Reach, including the computer measurement and control technology of the physical quantities, such as water level, velocity discharge, sediment concentration, grain diameter, etc. The principle of computer measurement and the measuring methods of sediment concentration and grain diameter are recommended in emphasis. The application of the system has greatly improved the automatic measurement and control level of sediment model, relived the workload and increased work efficiency.
