Digital rights management model for spatial data files

Compared to the focus on Digital Rights Management(DRM) for e-books,streaming media,research on copyright protection for spatial data files is relatively less.First the paper described the basic principles of digital rights management,and then presented a copyright protection model for spatial data files based on the copyright protection needs and characteristics of spatial data files.The proposed model made full use of the advantages of encryption,digital watermarking and file system filter driver techniques,therefore avoided the shortcomings brought from relying solely on encryption or digital watermarking technology for copyright protection.This paper also analyzed the key technologies of the proposed model in detail.
