Development of the Mobile Service-Oriented Information Integration Platform

For last decade,Fleet management system(FMS) has been an widely used service for its real-time tracking,instant response,and on-line customer service.However,many problems still remain for transportation service providers to enhance service quality and efficiency.The objective of this project,based on GIS technology,is to introduce the Service Oriented Architecture(SOA),widely adopted by other industries,to build a new fleet management platform featured by integration of heterogeneous systems to solve problems.With this platform,transportation service providers can reduce daily manual processes to cut down their operation costs as well as facilitate decision-making and management tasks in a real-time manner,providing their customers higher-quality but lower-cost transportation services.
