Research on definition and evaluation method of information assets

This paper provides a concept of information assets based on analyzing the value and character istic of information, and suggests an evaluation model that is based on the definition of information assets. It also gives an example to illustrate the evaluation of information assets directly. The results prove that the evaluation model is rational.
