Coding and Modulation Technology of Digital Radio Mondiale

Through the researches of broadband data link systems and key technologies, a realization scheme of DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale) coding and modulation on single DSP chip is proposed in the paper. The function structure, the hardware architecture, and software flow chart are represented in the paper. We also give the resolution scheme of two common problems with OFDM system, which are not involved in the ETSI DRM standard, out-of-band rejection and peak-to-average power ratio.
