Research on an Improved Method of Beamforming Sound Source Localization

An improved method of beamforming sound source localization was proposed through research on beamforming. The method through measuring noise level without signal, preventing band serious interfered by noise, analysing the charact eristics of reverberate interference, putting forward the effective method to remove echo interference using the pulse and exponential decay. The beamforming method was further weighted in frequency domain. The experiment result proved that the improved sound source localization method is efficient.
