On Harmonic Techniques in Wang Jianzhong' s Piano Works

Five kinds of harmonic techniques and expressive forms are shown in Wang Jianzhong's piano works: tertian chords, chords in pentatonic interval, chords with add notes, compound chords, and multi - tones chords. His characteristic harmonic usage is to boldly and freely employ non - tertian chords' color according to requirement of a work' s connotation, style, artistic conception, and aroma.
