Multicast is one of the important components in Ad Hoc networks.Key management is the hotspot of study for secure group key distribution and efficient rekeying at present.A new group rekeying scheme is proposed, which uses multiple key pools in key pre-distribution phase and establishes pairwise keys for group rekeying. The new scheme using identity-based cryptographic lowers the computational and communicational costs of nodes. And its security model adapts to the active outsider attack model and meets strong-security.This paper analyzes the new scheme in terms of network security and performance overhead.
