Research on Automatic Base Station Placement Algorithms in 3G Network Planning

The automatic base station placement problem belongs to the class of NP-complete optimization problems,so we propose a new automatic base station placement algorithm in 3G network planning based on DCMOGADES.The objective of algorithm is to maximize capacity,coverage and minimize cost.We present a three vector encoeing which including base station locations,antenna height and transmitting power,traffic density area is also taken into account in our algorithm.The simulation result shows that our algorithm can fast approach the Pareto front.
