HOW TO MASTER POLISHING-THE KEY TECHNIQUE IN GEMSTONE PROCESSING

In order to reach the maximum polishing effect in the least period of time, the polishing theory for gemstone cutting and the basic polishing conditions are studied. Through the repeated experiments, several countermeasures and precautions for practical polishing operation have been worked out with some ideal polishing cases. It is pointed out only if various factors concerned about every step of polishing are mastered reasonably, high quality gemstone work pieces can be finally polished out.
