Global Mediator Election Technology Based on Evaluation Function

To solve the problem of central mediator architecture in efficiency and reliability,this paper establishes a three-layered information integration architecture.A global mediator election algorithm(GMEA) is proposed,which can elect a mediator as a global mediator dynamically according to(mediators′) current status and capabilities.With collaboration of global mediator and other mediators,a query is processed.Experimental data show that the global mediator election technology based on evaluation function can improve efficiency of query processing in information integration systems.
