The paper presents the results of designing and implementing the LAN'sAPPLICATION LAYER PROTOCOL,which is based on the (?) project,802 andthe Reference Model of Open System Interconnection(RM/OSI).The functions of filetransfer,access,and management(FTAM),electronic mail service(EMS),and remotejob entry(RJR)are described and implemented.
