The Discussion of Software Defect Causal Analysis

Causal Analysis and Defect Prevention is an extension to the Software Inspection process.This paper analyzes what is Causal Analysis and how to do Causal Analysis with an example,which is how to determine what actions people might take for Defect Prevention after performing Causal Analysis.This paper further states Defect Preven-tion and indicates that integration of Inspection,Causal Analysis,and Defect Prevention enable to extend the power of Inspection,control and reduce the Cost of Quality.
