Research on Network Packet Capture Based on NDIS Driver

The network packet capture is the key component of network application and network security system and it can capture all or special network packets on the network.Many methods can be used for network packet capture and the method based on NDIS in win-dows is a most efficient and convenient style.In this paper,the principle and the implement method of this capture are provided.Some network packet methods are discussed and compared.The execution progress of The NDIS intermediate driver is analyzed in detail and the internal data storage structure and operation methods are described.
