Digital oilfields,digital reservoirs and digital basins are the important phrases during the informationization of exploration and development of petroleum and gas.They cover each other and have different points.The discussion and practice on them contributed favorably to the informationization of petroleum and gas industry.The paper collected the backgrounds and the current advance,and analyzed the difference and character of the three information buildups.
