Application and Analysis of Correlation in Time and Frequency Measurement

This paper introduces the correlation theorem in time and frequency domain.The theorem was widely used in many fields,such as frequency standard generating,stability of frequency measurement comparing,frequency measurement band extending and devices verification.The paper analyzes the correlation theorem of the switch oscillator which in dual-mixer time difference(DMTD) the conversion oscillator measurement system in detail.The application shows,based-on the correlation theorem not only can improve the performance of the measurement system or device,but also can perfect the frequncy measurement means.It improves the time-frequency measurement precision greatly.
