Reuse-based Development Approach and Tool Design for Multi-agent System

This paper introduces a hierarchical development approach for multi-agent system based on the idea of software reuse. The method can combine existing software component resources to implement a multi-agent system rapidly. A tool suite named VAStudio is developed to assist the development process in practice. Preliminary results in power and war simulation domains show some special advantages in efficiency.
