Research on the Security Defense Architecture for Classified MANET

Owing to the new characteristics of such as open medium, dynamic changing topology, limited energy sources, the security situation is more rigorous in Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) than that in traditional network. Referring to the I-ADD [1] processing of security analysis, we examine inherent network features, security threats and insecurity factors in MANET. According to the requirement of security in MANET, this paper advanced a set of Defense-in-depth Architecture aiming at classified MANET with center node. The scenario involves in three important parts: authentication, IDS and Integrate Security Manage System.
