Image Retrieval Based on Wavelet Transform

A prototype image retrieval system based on wavelet texture feature is designed and implemented by extraction of image feature.The obtained texture features are used to retrieval database.The experimental results show that the wavelet transform is an effective texture feature extraction method that can effectively improves the retrieval accuracy.
