Screening and Identification of a Nitrile Hydratase Producing Bacterium Strain and Research of Enzymatic Properties

Deng Lin · Journal of Sichuan University · 2005

A strain YL-1,which had high degrading capacity for nitrile was isolated from soil polluted by nitrile. After identification with morphology and physiological characteristics of YL-1,we assumed that it might belong to the Rhodococcus. Acrylamide produced was paralleled with nitrile degradation during growth.Reaserch of enzymatic properties showed that the optimal temperature and pH were 30℃ and 70.This nitrile hydratase is stable under temperature 50℃ and between pH 60~90.
