Optimization of MPEG-4 Encoder Based on TMS320DM642

MPEG-4 video compression arithmetic is full of complexity,so it is difficult to coding in real time.This paper introduces an optimization strategy based on TI's high performance DSP-DM642.Within the powerful DSP,the encoder can deal with the D1 video sequence at about 25 f/s.
