Objective: To probe into the differences in QT peak dispersion(QT pd) between the patients with hypertension left ventricle hypertrophy and normal adult through their QT peak intervals.Method: A total of 95 cases of patients were divided into two groups.Group A was the hypertension left ventricle hypertrophy patients of 63 cases and Group B was the normal adult of 32 cases. All cases were recorded the regular 12-lead synchrony electrocardiograms at a speed of 25mm/s,and then measuring the QT peak dispersion in two groups.Result: The QT peak interval of patients with hypertension left ventricle hypertrophy in Group A was longer than that in Group B(normal adult). The QTpd in Group A was higher than that in Group B.Conclusion: The QT pd for the patients with hypertension left ventricle hypertrophy in Group A is(62.69±14.86)ms and in Group B(normal adult) is(30±10)ms. All of these indicate that QTpd can estimate the risks in hypertension heart disease and abnormal heart rate.
