Research on mechanical CAD/CAE data management system based on ORDB

This paper introduce the characteristics and the strongpoint on managing mechanical eng-ineering data of the Object-Relational Database(ORDB).We present a mechanical engi-neering data model based ORDB.The mechanical CAD/CAE data management system is realized by using ASP.NET and Oracle9i,and a effective approach to exchanging,sharing and storing mechanical engineering data on the Web is provided.
